Challenge
For their Formula 1 TV show, SBS6 desires programme content and the possibility to involve home audiences in the television show.
Strategy
A concept was conceived where Formula 1 experts can express their opinions on drivers performances on live television. The viewers at home can join in on-line and win big prizes.
The result
Flash demos were programmed to be used during the television shows. Studio guests such as Tom Coronel and Christijan Albers used it to explain their predictions. The viewers at home joined in via the GP Expert website, and won Plasma televisions, DVD players and video recording cameras. Payments were handled with SMS and IVR (Interactive Voice Response). The Microsoft .NET web application and powerful DB2 database were hosted by IBM.
